OPEN LETTER AND PERSONAL INVITATION

Since 1978, Sunrise Christian School has developed a reputation and tradition for providing excellence in a Christ Centred Education to support parents in their God given mandate to ‘train their children in the ways of the Lord’. The school works closely with the families and their local churches to encourage and nurture the child’s ‘heart and character’ in order for each child to individually find and fulfill the plans God has for them in a loving, safe and secure atmosphere.

Our dedicated staff who are all committed to Christ, work together with parents and students to ensure that each child’s learning experience is happy, challenging and successful to see the child thrive in the excellence that is the very nature of God, both in character and academics. The Biblically based curriculum has been developed within the school over the last two decades to produce a quality cyclic approach using traditional methods of pedagogy (teaching) in conjunction with the best of the ‘latest’ practice.

In today’s society it is essential that our children develop an understanding of who they are in Christ and a Biblical world-view as the basis for their self worth. We have seen for many years that esteem based in God allows the students to reflect integrity, honesty, tolerance and compassion for others which is the very heart of God. These qualities allow the students to have the skills, courage and conviction to ‘stand firm’ for the things they believe to be leaders in an increasingly complex society while moving into the new millennium.

Sunrise Christian School in located on five campuses. The Fullarton Campus (R-7) close to the CBD, the Paradise Campus (R-7) in the north-eastern suburbs, the Morphett Vale Campus (R-7) in the south, the Marion Campus (R-12) in the south-western suburbs and our Naracoorte Campus (R-7) in the south east.
